In highlighting our own indigenous Irish Honey Bee (Apis mellifera mellifera), the Native Irish Honey Bee Society, have launched a product label. For NIHBS members selling honey from native Irish honey bees, we encourage you to affix a “Produced by Native Irish Honey Bees” label, which identifies your product as being from Ireland and from our special bees. It’s been shown that beekeepers increase sales and can charge a premium in comparison to honeys without our labels. You can purchase rolls of 100, 500, 1000 or 5000, depending on your harvest and sales potential.  The label is aimed at creating, consumer interest, awareness and support in protecting of our unique biodiversity. This is only available to members of the Society and in agreement with certain terms and conditions.
