Irish Native Rare Breed Society – Bunratty Castle, 18 August 2024

The Irish Native Rare Breed Society (INRBS) will be hosting a celebration of indigenous breeds at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park.

A selection of rare breeds will be on display offering a unique opportunity to observe these extraordinary animals up close. Representatives from various breed societies will be on hand to provide detailed information and answer any questions you may have about these special creatures.

Specialists in crafts involving wool, leather and beeswax will also be present, giving demonstrations while finished products including artworks and garments will be on display.

A series of lectures covering topics such as Breed Conservation Strategies, The Use of Genetics in Conservation and more, will take place in The Corn Barn.
