Did anyone care to follow this story up?? The very roadside verge where this project was launched was leveled a week later by some bright spark in the council just doing his job!
Typical!
There is a roadside verge near me in Belfast planted with tens of thousands of crocus and some council eejit cut the grass, crocus and all, about a week before they would have flowered last February.
We should be lobbying about this as much as possible as it is mindless destruction of habitat and bee forage.
There is an article about this in the Four Seasons Magazine which is due out shortly.
