Ambassadors Wanted.
We need a local representative for every county in Ireland who would help us by spreading NIHBS news and feeding back useful beekeeping information from their local areas. It’snot a big commitment but would be a big help towards conserving our Native Irish Honey Bee. Please see below for the list of counties that we still need to cover.
If you are interested, please contact me Colin Harris at colin.nihbs@gmail.com or if you are attending the 2024 NIHBS conference we could discuss there.
Antrim, Armagh, Cork, Dublin, Fermanagh, Galway, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Leitrim, Limerick, Louth, Meath, Monaghan, Offaly,
Roscommon, Tipperary,Tyrone, Waterford, Wexford, Wicklow

Hi , my name is paul fairbrass. I live in meath. I saw your post about ambassadors for your county, and I’d love to volunteer if possible.
I’m a member of the royal county beekeeping association and of course a nihbs member.
I’m on the committee at the royal county, in charge of the website and social media. And we always pass on nihbs information to the members and are massive advocates of amm.
I’ve emailed colin as requested, but I’d thought I’d leave a message here as well.
I did have a prior family engagement planned this weekend and would have loved to be in athlone.
Thanks Paul.
That’s great Paul, we love enthusiasm! Colin will be in touch. Colin.nihbs@gmail.com for anyone else that might be interested.
