The Bee Improvement Workshop held in Tullamore was a great success.
72 people attended and thankfully the rain held off until the end .
There was a large group from Galway with many others having travelled from Donegal, Wicklow, Cork, Clare, Meath, Dublin, Kildare, Westmeath, Laois and Offaly.
There was a tremendous input from NIHBS committee in the organisation of the event
Imelda, did the registration and together with Pauline they got four new members and collected 430 Euro for the NIHBS Research fund.
Colm & Imelda put up the Gazebo which provided welcome shelter while we had the cup of tea.
Tom Ellis, Donegal Bees set up near the apiary and he kindly donated a prize of a Nuc.
The lucky winner was John Flynn.
