2015 Bee Health Update
To date there has been a total 18 apiaries with AFB confirmed, one of which has two beekeepers with confirmed colonies at the one site.
In addition there have been 2 apiaries confirmed with EFB, one of these having a colony with AFB confirmed in the above total.
A considerable number of these disease findings are in colonies recently traded/moved along with a mix of old combs or swarms placed unto old combs.
