Bees are pollinating Limerick city from their church tower home

Limerick is often described as the ’City of Churches’ and with numerous old and unused places of worship around the city it’s great to see innovative new ideas occupying them.

St Munchin’s Church of Ireland chapel on King’s Island is a Limerick landmark and a group of bee keepers from the city are now using its towers to house beehives and help pollinate the city’s flowers.
