‘Going Native – the Potential of the Black Bee’

Preliminary details:-

Presentations will generally be 30 minutes in length – abstracts must be sent in advance.   For students or those who do not wish to present in English, Posters can be put up in the conference room.

As well as the conference talks, there will be excursions to see Native Irish Black Bees, a workshop on DNA testing and a practical demonstration of the ancient art of Skep making. 

There will be a Céad Míle Fáilte (an Irish greeting meaning ‘A hundred thousand welcomes’) for everyone at our traditional ‘Céilí’ one evening, and opportunities to chat and mingle during the conference dinner another evening.

Local excursions of general interest will be organised for accompanying partners.
