NEW Dates – 3rd to 5th September 2021 and black bee excursions on 5th & 6th
Due to the COVID-19 situation and because the protection of public health is the most important issue in these difficult and unprecedented times, the Native Irish Honey Bee Society (NIHBS) and the board of SICAMM are disappointed to have to announce that this conference will NOT go ahead in September 2020. Currently in Ireland, we have to stay at home, are only allowed out for food, health reasons or work IF it cannot be done from home. When we do go out, we must stay 2 metres away from everyone. These instructions are in place until May 5th at least.
Because of the uncertainty of when things will get back to ‘normal’, the decision has been taken to defer the conference for a full year, until 3rd to 5th September 2021, with black bee excursions on Sunday afternoon and on Monday September 6th. The venue remains the same.
Good news! We are delighted to confirm that our key speakers, Tom Seeley, Andrew Abrahams and Raffaele Dall’Olio will still be able to attend.
For those of you who have already booked and paid for the conference you can either defer (do nothing) until next year or cancel your bookings now and re-book later. For a refund of the Conference booking, using PayPal, you need to log in to your Paypal account, open the attendee’s receipt and hit the button that says “Refund payment”.
If you paid using bank transfer and would like a refund, please email me.
Please contact the hotel or B&B directly regarding cancellation of accommodation bookings.
We look forward to seeing you at next year’s event and in the meantime we hope that you and yours remain safe and well.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact Loretta Neary the NIHBS secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org
NOTE – If you do not wish to receive further communications about this conference, please inform the NIHBS secretary
