The Native Irish Honey Bee Society now has over 220 members. The next edition of the Four Seasons Magazine should be out shortly. Members receive this magazine quarterly and it covers issues related to our native bee, beekeeping in Ireland and beekeeping in general. Some articles from past issues are available on the website. Anyone interested in joining NIHBS can download the membership form. Membership is open to everyone. There will also be an opportunity to become a member at any of the events planned for the summer beekeeping season. The next event is the Galtee Bee Breeding Group Workshop/Open Day on 16th June.
